Drysdale & Co. Blog Update

The former Danforth store location in it's glory days

Hi,

Thanks for visiting. You may have noticed big changes to Drysdale & Co in 2012. Here’s the scoop:

After 8 years in “Bricks & Mortar” retail on Danforth Ave. I decided a of change direction was in order. The open-to-the-public store was closed in January 2012 but the online store remains. I am pleased that our customer base now stretches far beyond the local Toronto area to the world at large. I’ve shipped hundreds of orders to online customers around the world and am happy to be able to continue to do so. Our local fans may find this a big change to how they used to shop with us, but for those who only know us from online it’s business as usual.

The great thing about having the online store is that I get to learn which products are in demand online and which ones were more suited to the physical retail environment. In the coming months I plan to streamline the product mix down to those products that I know people are trying to find online, and to those that suit themselves well to online ordering. So our product mix will be changing for the better as I hone in on the best of the best and feature them going forward.

In the mean time I am now pursuing other interests as well as running the online shop. Most of my time is spent doing web design for a wide range of clients – business people, artists, retailers – anyone who needs a well planned, well executed website for their company or project.

In fact, I spend so much time developing web presences for others I don’t have quite as much time anymore to maintain this blog. I do however maintain a personal blog, a tumblr page and a Pinterest profile so please check them out and follow me on whichever is your preferred environment.

See ya ’round the web!

Susan
